Pakistan needs to empower its women. In order to ensure women’s empowerment, the authorities must create awareness among women about their rights. Many Pakistani women don’t have financial independence and rely on others for trivial matters. A majority of them also remain uneducated. These women should be encouraged to play an active and positive role in every field. They should also know about the events happening in the country. The most important thing about empowering women is to teach women to raise their voice against injustice, domestic violence and oppression. Also, it is important to create economic opportunities for women. Through education, vocational training and scholarships, we should equip women with the knowledge and skills that can help them enter into higher-paid employment sectors. Working women should be provided with networking opportunities, coaching, access to information and credit, and business management training.
It is essential to take measures to boost women’s participation in political processes and equip women to be informed voters and active members of political parties.
