Inflation is becoming a serious problem in Pakistan. In the last few months, the prices of everyday consumer items have been rising steadily. Income levels are not rising to match the rates of inflation in the country.

The government can adopt a few measures to curb the rising rate of prices and keep it under control. First, the latest methods of production in factories and on farms should be employed to increase industrial and agricultural production. Second, the distribution of the product should be quick and efficient with minimal wastage. Third, the government and social organisations should put pressure on shopkeepers to sell goods at the right prices. Lastly, steps should be taken to lower the population rate. If our population continues to rise at the present rate, it will be very difficult to provide resources in proper quantities.
