GARHI KHUDA BAKHSH: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan on Sunday said Dr Asim Hussain is not a terrorist and that PPP cannot be blamed for terrorism.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion of 8th death anniversary of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto here, Aitzaz Ahsan said Dr Asim’s case does falls out of the constitutional domain of Rangers.
“If charges of corruption proved against Dr Asim, then PPP will not try to block punishment,” he added.
He said Islam is our religion, democracy is our politics and people are the source of real power.
Aitzaz Ahsan said Benazir Bhutto believed in Socialism. “We have to return to the slogan of socialism because it takes care of the needs of even the poor,” he added.
