The International Day for Anti-corruption was observed in Pakistan on December 9. Unfortunately, looking at the history of this country’s politics, leaders and politicians have done virtually nothing to ensure that our public-sector employees, both imperial and ancillary staff members, are free from corruption and greed.
The menace of bureaucratic corruption has become a social norm in this country. At this rate, tyranny and corruption are bound to become the heritage and legacy of our ruling elites and bureaucrats.
