“With the Pakistan Super League coach selection process for each of the five franchises scheduled to take place soon, the PSL management is inviting interested top cricket professionals to sign up as coach with the league,” Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement on Wednesday.

“A number of qualified cricket coaches and top cricketers have already signed up with the Pakistan Super League for the position of franchise coach. However, interested professionals are being invited to write to the PSL management in order to be listed for selection by a franchisee.

“Only highly qualified coaches and ex-Test cricketers will be entertained under this initiative. Any interested applicant who is involved in any sort of conflict with the Pakistan Cricket Board and its functionaries or with the International Cricket Council shall not be eligible to become a part of the coach roster.

“With franchise rights awarded, teams will sign up coaches before the player draft event which is scheduled to take place in late December,” it concluded.
