UK minister appreciates performance of Punjab CM

LONDON: UK Trade & Investment Minister Rt Hon Lord Maude of Horsham, while addressing the UK-Pakistan Energy and Infrastructure Forum held here on Wednesday, appreciated the economic, trade and other policies of Pakistan.
He said the situation in Pakistan had improved considerably as a result of these policies. He said the situation in Pakistan was highly conducive for foreign investment. The image of Pakistan regarding law and order had no relevance with ground realities.
The British minister said the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had displayed an excellent performance in previous years. He said Shahbaz Sharif was playing an important role in putting the economy of Pakistan on the road to progress.
