Quratulain Chaudhary

Islamabad-based model Quratulain Chaudhary started modelling in 2011. She did her first show with Tariq Amin. Since then she has participated in major fashion shows and done countless modelling assignments. However, she still regards her first show as the best which she did with Tariq Amin, “Doing Islamabad Fashion Week with Tariq Amin was like a dream come true. My joy knew no bounds when I was selected by the style guru in an audition. I was so excited and thrilled to work with top designers and models,” says Quratulain. “I feel lucky to have worked with choreographers like Rezz Aly Shah,” she adds. Professionally a banker, Quratulain enjoys modelling as it gives her a kick and an opportunity to unwind from the busy monotonous banking routine. What do you usually wear in daily life?
As I have a 9 to 5 job I am usually in short kurta with cigarette pants or trousers, in evenings I am in casual wear - jeans and a t-shirt

What is one cosmetic you cannot do without?
My lipstick, even if you wear no make up and just put on a nice shade of lipstick it brightens your face

When stepping out, do you wear makeup all the time?
Not at all. I try to use minimum make up in my routine life as a lot of heavy make up is used in shoots and shows... I let my skin breathe

Your idea of romance...
Red roses, candle light dinners and long walks on the beach

One thing you like best about yourself...
I am an easy going person and adjust to any given situation easily

Which designer’s clothes you would always love to wear?
All the international brands I have mentioned above. In Pakistan I would love to wear HSY and Faraz Manan

Every night I do a thorough cleansing and then moisturizing of my skin. I am a big fan of essential oils coconut, walnut, almond and I also use rose water on my skin frequently

That I think too much of my self which is entirely false.

What would be your advice to someone who is thinking of training to be a model?
My advice would be to first complete your education as it is very important, and then be professional and be sincere with your work, then no one can stop you from going up the ladder of success
