Bulls returned to the Lahore Stock Exchange, as the LSE-25 Index increased by 55 points to close at 5,582 points.
Trading volumes were higher than those recorded a day ago. Of the 83 companies traded, the value of 26 increased; four declined, while 53 companies remained unchanged.
Trading volume was 535,000 shares, higher than the trading of 379,400 shares recorded a day ago. SilkBank was the volume leader with a turnover of 103,500 shares.
Millat Tractors was the major gainer with an increase of Rs7.87 per share. Seriotive Spinning Mills was the top loser with a decline of 36 paisas per share.
