In Lahore, people do not bother to move their vehicles when they hear an ambulance siren nearby. People tend to stick to their own lanes rather than give space to ambulances. Moreover, they tend to overtake ambulances, making it seem as though they are in a greater hurry.
Many people have lost their lives because of this issue. I suggest that there should be a separate route for ambulances and rescue teams so that they can reach their destinations without being stuck in traffic. The government must build dedicated paths for ambulances, just as they have done for metro buses.
