We have not learnt any lessons from the 2005 earthquake. We should know that earthquakes are partially responsible for the major devastation we had witnessed during the 2005 earthquake, and again on October 26. It is the poorly constructed infrastructure that caused much of the deaths. Town planning should only be initiated now after conducting seismological surveys.
