- Born on 14th August 1983 in Chernivtsi, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union (now Chernivtsi, Ukraine).
- Has an elder brother, Michael.
- Family moved to the U.S. in 1991 when she was 7, partially because of antisemitism in the former Soviet Union.
- Started taking acting classes and appearing in commercials as a child.
- Made her acting debut in the soap opera Days of Our Lives (1994).
- Gained recognition for her role in the sitcom That ‘70s Show (1998 – 2006).
- Has since appeared in films including Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), Max Payne (2008), Black Swan (2010), The Book of Eli (2010), Friends with Benefits (2011), Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), Ted (2012), and Bad Moms (2016).
- Also voices Meg Griffin on the animated series Family Guy (1999 – present).
