According to media reports, when the victim went to register a complaint, one police officer behaved with her rudely and told her to leave the station. Why was her complaint not registered? Were police officers supporting their colleague?
The Punjab chief minister visited the family and ordered suspension of the accused ASI. Such rituals have not deterred people from playing with women’s lives. Mr CM a la Khadim-e-Aala, people want justice.
