Starting off his career with a commercial, Azfar has a list of plays since 2006. He has given countless super-hit dramas to Pakistani Television including ‘Nazar-e-Bad’, ‘Aatish’, ‘Khidmat Guzar’, ‘Tumahri Natasha’, ‘Phir Chand pe Dastak’ and the list of his hits goes on... He has done a number of TV soaps including ‘Ik Pagal Si Larki’ and appeared in the movies such as ‘Jawani Phir Nahe Aani’ and played a lead in ‘Chahlawa’. He has also did a lead role in a web series ‘Enaya’ and one can’t count the number of TVCs he has done. An ultimate cool attitude and fabulous sense of humour got him to host Pakistan’s first reality show Miss Veet Pakistan. Being crowned as the chocolate boy of the Pakistani industry, Azfar is also one of the transparent actors. ‘Aatish’ and ‘Nazar e Bad’.

‘Aatish’.

My cool attitude.

Jeans and t-shirt.

What is your favourite thing in your closet right now?

A pair of Hawaii shorts.

I always lie (laughs). Last time I lied to avoid a live session.

I sleep on time and pray regularly.

Running every day for 1 to 2 hours.

Something you miss about the life you had before becoming an actor?

Walking out freely without being judged.

Fatherhood.

One thing that you think people pretend to be in the industry?

Very high society. People in industry are pretentious anyway.

Worst rumour about you?

In 2015 that I was drunk and driving when Ayesha Omar and I had an accident.

‘The Ellen Show’.

The best secret keeper in the industry?

Mehwish Hayat.

How do you like to spend the days when you are off shoot?

Wake up late, make omelettes, breakfast and spend quality time with family and friends whose importance I learnt over the years.

Three things no one knows about you?

Extremely religious, off narcotics, happily married and that I m a great guy!

First thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

Check my phone.

Chai dhaaba or restaurant?

Cafe.

Have you ever flirted with a fan?

A lot of times before shadi.

What is one thing that always cheers you up when you are upset?

Chai.

What would you be if not an actor?

I would be working in an ad agency or running my own school or owing a cafeteria.

What do you think this country needs the most?

Education.

Going to past and undo a mistake or going to future and see how your life would be?

I will go to the future to see what is happening.

Lessons that you have learnt in the industry?

Relations are so fragile, people don’t take anyone seriously and they change also.

Any director’s movie you would love to sign?

James Cameron, Karan Johar and Asim Raza.
