LAHORE: Punjab Information and Culture Minister Fayazul Hassan Chohan has said that at a time when the entire nation is united against corona virus, the opposition leader in the National Assembly is once again busy playing gimmicks. In a statement, the minister said that Shahbaz Sharif could only see the reality once he comes out of the drawing room where he continues to sit while wearing a mask. He said the opposition leader must know that the present government was making all-out effort to deal with the issue of corona. Chohan said Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had been bravely leading the war against corona since February. He said the testing capacity had reached 5,000 per day now and under instructions from the CM nine laboratories in Punjab had been upgraded to BSL Level 3. He said quarantine centrers and Isolation wards had been set up province-wide whereas out of the total available lot of ventilators, only 17 percent were being used. He asked Shahbaz Sharif to reply as to what had been the role of the PML-N in the war against Corona. He said it was the moral duty of Shehbaz Sharif to lead the nation at this hour but he had greatly disappointed the people.
