Our society has become so intolerant and rigid that we simply don't want to listen to divergent views, no matter how strong, logical and accurate these views may be. This is because we have been taught in such a manner that we give importance to our point of view, no matter how weak, illogical and inaccurate that point of view may be.
It is time our society started listening to the views of the other side as well. Only this way will our society achieve intellectual maturity.
