- Began her modelling career when she was 14 after being discovered on the street by a modelling scout.
- Has been friends with her former roommate Amy Smart since they were both models and aspiring actresses.
- Made her professional acting debut in 1997 and her film debut in the dramedy Varsity Blues (1999).
- Achieved recognition when she appeared in the horror films Final Destination (2000) and Final Destination 2 (2003) and the television drama Heroes (2006 - 2010).
- Has since appeared in the Resident Evil film series (2006 - 2016) as well as television shows including Pitch (2016 - 2017), Splitting Up Together (2018 - 2019), and The Rookie (2019).
