This refers to the letter ‘Toothless OIC’ (Feb 3, 2020) by Engr Shahryar Khan Baseer. It is widely believed in Pakistan that the OIC is not playing an effective role in taking a united stand for Muslims. In the recent past, a prominent ruler of a Muslim country dubbed a few independence movements by Muslims as territorial disputes rather than religious disputes.
We need to study the geopolitical factors at play in the Muslim world. Every country interprets and perceives the problems of Muslims from their own perspective.
