The portion of the Margalla Hills around the Nicholson Memorial and Taxila in general is in a pitiable state owing to the limitless greed of cement factory owners who have been wrongly and illegally allowed to set up factories there in utter disregard to the environs of the area.
The continued, merciless beheading of these hills has only left the area full of clouds of dust, showing the insensitivity of the authorities concerned as well as the civic society, which have allowed the disaster to happen unabated for years.
