ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday again warned the world of the danger of an all out war in Jammu and Kashmir region.
In an interview with the BBC on Friday, Khan said: “If something goes wrong it will have implications far beyond the subcontinent. India is going the wrong way and it is my duty to inform a forum that was set up after World War II to prevent a war from happening anywhere. Elsewhere there is no danger of war like in Kashmir.”
He said this was not just about Kashmir but around 20 million Muslims were in danger of being declared illegal due to two laws of the Citizenship and Registration Act in India.
The Prime Minister said India had violated the UN resolutions and the Simla Agreement, adding over 8 million innocent Kashmiris were under siege since August 5. To a question, he said the issue could become worse if European Union, United Nations or the United States didn’t intervene.
The Premier went on to say that extremist ideology RSS has taken over nuclear armed India and RSS was founded in 1925 under the influence of the Nazi Party, adding the same extremist ideology killed Mahatma Gandhi but alas same ideology has taken over India.
Regarding Pakistan’s economy Khan said his government inherited the worst economic crisis in history with biggest current account deficit and fiscal deficit, however, the country’s economy has stabilised following tough decisions taken by his government.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Khan said he wanted Pakistanis at home and abroad to come out on 5th February in support of the eight million Kashmiris who have been besieged by 900,000 Indian soldiers for almost six months by the fascist Modi regime.
“I want Pakistanis at home and abroad to come out on 5th Feb in support of the 8 million Kashmiris who have been besieged by 900k Indian soldiers for almost 6 months by the fascist racist Modi regime,” Khan Tweeted on Friday.
Separately, talking to Chairperson of Dogan Holdings Ms. Begumhan Dogan Faralyali on the sidelines of World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2020, Prime Minister Khan said Pakistan’s economic trajectory offers immense potential for investments.
He said the government has embarked upon reforms agenda to facilitate investors and the government will provide all possible support for establishing businesses.
He added Pakistan has been blessed with vast natural resources and offers great potential for investments. He invited Dogan Holdings to consider investments in energy and tourism sectors.
Special Assistant Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Ambassador at Large on Investments Ali Jehangir Siddiqui, Permanent Representative to UN at Geneva Ambassador Khalil Hashmi were also present.
Chief Executive Officer and President of Sumitomo Corporation Masayoki Hyodo also called on Prime Minister Khan at Davos.
