Pak footballers end Malaysia tour on winning note

LAHORE: Pakistan football team concluded their training tour of Malaysia with a win after beating the Malaysian Super League side Felda United FC by 2-0.

Pakistan team played their second and final friendly match of the tour today against the Malaysian Super League side Felda United FC and won the match 2-0 to conclude a successful training tour. Pakistan team scored in once in each half to win the game. The team looked defensively strong and did not concede any goal.

In the first half, Pakistan team took the lead in 16th minute when the youngster Waheed scored from Ali Khan’s assist. Both teams went into the break with Pakistan team holding on to their narrow advantage. In the second half the Pakistan team managed to double their lead when Nisar scored the goal in 75th minute. Substitute Kaleemullah scored once more in the dying minutes of the match but the third goal was ruled out by the referee.

Pakistan team finished the training tour with an all-round brilliant performance and will be returning to Pakistan on January 25.
