Last week, Mansha Pasha, who appeared in the critically acclaimed film Laal Kabootar opposite Ahmed Ali Akbar earlier this year, and lawyer-activist Jibran Nasir announced their engagement. The e-card that circulated on the internet mentioned that the engagement ceremony will take place on December 22 (Sunday), followed by lunch.
The two exchanged rings on Sunday with family and friends in attendance. Mansha exuded desi vibes in a vibrant pink lehnga choli by Omorose, paired with dull gold dupatta while her jewels were from Mahrukh Akuly Jewelry. Rajan Khokar from Nabila salon did her makeup and Ania Fawad styled her for the occasion.
It was a very lively afternoon as Mansha and Jibran danced along with the attendees. Friends from the fraternity who were present at the ceremony include Junaid Khan, Faiza Saleem, Mariyam Nafees and Zhalay Sarhadi among others.
“Thank you so much everyone for the warm wishes, love and duas, which made this day even more special for us!” both Mansha and Jibran wrote on social media post the engagement.
Jibran posted a candid picture of Mansha and him while they were dancing and wrote this line from a famous Bollywood song from Aamir Khan’s Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke, “Yun hee kat jaye ga safar saath chalnay se.”
