RAWALPINDI: General Nadeem Raza took over as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) here on Wednesday.
According to ISPR, General Nadeem Raza assumed appointment of CJCSC at Joint Staff Headquarters, Chaklala. The prime minister office announced appointment of General Nadeem as CJCSC and his promotion as four-star General on November 21 in succession to General Zubair Mahmood Hayat with effect from November 27.
Previously, he was serving as Chief of General Staff at GHQ and also commanded Rawalpindi Corps.
