- Born on 29th November 1981 in Lahore, Pakistan.
- Has two sisters, Aliya and Sana.
- Was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 17.
- Did his A-Levels from Lahore Grammar School.
- Has a bachelor's degree in computer science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in Lahore.
- Gained recognition as the lead singer of the band Entity Paradigm after their participation in Pepsi Battle of the Bands in 2002. The group released one album, Irtiqa (2003).
- Starred in the 2001 sitcom Jutt and Bond, earning more fame as an actor after appearing in the film Khuda Kay Liye (2007). Subsequently starred in television dramas including Dastaan (2010), Humsafar (2011), and Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2012), and the Bollywood film Khoobsurat (2014).
