‘Heroes of Hazara Trust’, Victim Support Centre inaugurated

ABBOTTABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammad Naeem has called for strengthening the newly set up ‘Heroes of Hazara Trust’ and Victim Support Centre established at Regional Police Office, Hazara.

Inaugurating the offices of the Trust and Support Centre, he said that such kind of activities would be expanded to other parts of the province.

He added that the trust would provide support to the families of the police martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the safety of citizens.

“We should pay rich tributes to the martyrs and highlight stories of their bravery and efforts,” he added.

The IGP, while discussing the Victim Support Centre, said that it would be a major platform for the victims of any kind of crimes and it would be made accessible for all and sundry.

Earlier, DIG Mazharul Haq Kakakhel, in his briefing, stated that the bodies set up recently were the first of their kinds by the Hazara Police.
