Designer Manish Malhotra showcased his first-ever menswear collection at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive and brought the house down by choosing hottie Ranbir Kapoor to walk as the showstopper. Dressed in a maroon velvet blazer with matching pants worn with a polka dotted shirt, Ranbir brooded like a pro on the ramp. While we wouldn’t suggest that any of you guys invest in a velvet suit, a hint of colour and texture to your festive sherwanis and waistcoats would be a stylish move. While Ranbir offered a sweet ending to his delectable menswear collection, actress Shraddha Kapoor made for a perfect start to the day in a red hot outfit from his ‘Empress Story’ couture collection. The drop-waist lace dress is enough of a head-turning statement so just this one, we shall ignore the absence of any bling.
