With good looks and his status as Ali Zafar’s brother, the newbie singer grabbed all the attention and later his ads for Telenor and Sprite proved as icing on the cake. For the song ‘Julie’, Danyal got a chance to work with Ali and that too brought him loads of appreciation from all corners. Despite having a great interest in psychedelic rock, blues, lo-fi stuff, chill vibe, funk and R&B, Danyal listens to every trajectory of music and his favourites are Pink Floyd, John Mayer and Jeff Buckley.
Recently, the singer released a music video of the first track from his album ‘Ek or Ek Teen’, a blend of blues, R&B, and funk fused with our traditional and cultural musical elements. Interestingly, the video has proved to be one of the fastest streamed music videos in Pakistan and racked over three million views within four days of its release.
