LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek has demanded that all the corruption cases of plunder of the billions of rupees national exchequer must be sent to the military courts. The demand was made by PAT Core Committee in its first meeting on Thursday. The meeting decided to hold countrywide protest demonstrations against the Model Town tragedy to celebrate the Independence week from August 7 to August 14. The eight-member committee meeting chaired by Dr Hassan Mohiyuddin Qadri strongly condemned the suicide attack in Saudi Arabia. It demanded the government to make public the Model Town Judicial Commission report. Dr Hassan said there was a strong relationship between terrorists and economic terrorism and their financiers and all the plundered money ends up in one way or the other in the laps of terrorists. He said it was imperative that all the corruption cases that had come to light should be sent to the military courts. He said those sponsoring terrorists should be held accountable to restore peace in the country. The meeting greeted the PAT Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri on presenting the anti-terrorism curriculum.
