Lahore Stock Exchange witnessed bearish trend on Tuesday, as the LSE-25 Index declined by 28 points to close at 6,127 points.
The trading volumes were higher than the volumes recorded on the last trading day. Of the 93 companies traded, the value of 18 increased, 23 companies suffered losses, while there was no change in the value of 52 companies' shares. Trading volume was 2.2 million shares, higher than the trading volumes of 1.45 million shares recorded on the last trading day. SilkBank was the volume leader with a turnover of 1.02 million shares. Engro Corporation was the top gainer, adding Rs4.58 in its share value.
