ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to visit Saudi Arabia after his return from China, Geo News reported on Wednesday.

Citing unnamed sources, it was reported that a breakthrough on Kashmir is expected during the prime minister meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman during his visit to the kingdom.

The prime minister is in China on a crucial visit, during which he was assured of support on Pakistan's stance regarding Indian occupied Kashmir.

The premier has been highlighting the plight of people of occupied Kashmir on international platforms since India revoked the special status of the Muslim majority region on August 5.

He has also criticised the Narendra Modi-led Indian government for its extremist agenda and its policies towards minorities in India.
