Light Soya Sauce 1 tsp& 1/4 cup

Cornstarch (plus 1/4 cup, divided) 1 tbsp

Vegetable oil (for frying the beef) 1/3 cup

Ginger (minced) 1/2 tsp

Dried red chilli peppers (optional) 5

Garlic cloves (chopped) 2

Water (or low sodium chicken stock) 1/4 cup

Brown sugar 2 tbsp

Cornstarch (mixed with 1 tbsp water) 1 tbsp
