Every couple expects their big day to be something out of a fairy-tale with every detail being impeccable. Since Pakistani weddings have back-to-back events, there is a lot to be done beforehand. From the bride’s dress to the floral arrangements at the venue, meticulous planning is done to make sure you manage everything easily. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. No matter how much you plan to book the venue early on, or get a hold of your favourite makeup artist, one thing or the other is always missed out. This mammoth task of planning a wedding can be really exhausting, and would be much easier if we didn’t have to run after every single person from the florists, caterers, designers and so on.
Recently, the third edition of the biggest wedding expo, 7UP Pakistan Wedding Show concluded in Lahore. The two-day event was attended by around 60,000 people who got the chance to avail exciting offers and discounts, from over 70 coveted brands in fashion, beauty, event planning and much more.
This year’s event was inaugurated by actors Kubra Khan and Bilal Ashraf and closed by Fawad Khan. The show was an opportunity for attendees to plan their wedding with topmost event planners, leading bridal couture designers, furniture brands, caterers, DJs, photographers and salons all under one roof. In addition to this, brides were also able to connect with top fashion designers themselves and enjoy free beauty consultations by enviable makeup artists including the renowned Shammal Qureshi of Toni & Guy, Arammish Salon and Spa amongst others. Also, a highlight for PWS every year, some lucky attendees won exciting prizes such as air tickets for honeymoon, free bridal photoshoots and wedding coverage and makeup deals!
