KARACHI: Islamabad Football Association (IFA) president Dr Fazal-ur-Rehman is facing no confidence move for violating the decision of the executive committee and his own undertaking as he attended the electoral meeting of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) near Changla Gali on June 30.
Sources in the IFA said Dr Fazal had given written undertaking but opted to attend the PFF electoral meeting in Changla Gali in which Faisal Saleh Hayat was re-elected for the fourth successive time despite a court stay order.
The sources said that 27 clubs out of 31 had decided to vote against Dr Fazal in the July 30 meeting.
Twenty four clubs are required for initiating a no confidence motion.
The associate secretary has informed the clubs and Dr Fazal about the meeting. The meeting was expected to be held on July 15 but was delayed for a fortnight.
