This refers to the news report, ‘SC gets NAB report on 150 mega corruption cases’ (July 8). Why was NAB unable to complete the investigation even in a decade? The case against the Sharif brothers for misusing authority was first reported in 2000. After 15 years the investigation into the case is still going on. What about the thousands of ghost employees being paid from the national exchequer?
All those accused of corruption should undergo formal lie detection to prove their innocence. Moreover, morality demands that all those named by NAB should resign till they are proved not guilty. But unfortunately moral values and ethics are not in the genes of our ruling elite.
