This refers to the letter, ‘Fruit trees’ (June 28) by Wakeel Khan. The writer’s cal for planting fruit trees along motorways is one idea that the motorway authorities can do without.
Fruit trees along motorways are one way to increase unnecessary accidents. Instead, the authorities concerned should plant such trees that can provide shade as well as wood.
