* Romantic comedy; after an accident, a struggling singer (Patel) realizes he is the only person who remembers the Beatles, and becomes famous by performing their songs.

* Had a budget of $26 million; 10 million was paid for the rights to use the music. Has made around $98 million in three weeks.

* Has generated mixed reviews, receiving criticism for its simplicity and familiarity. Has drawn comparisons to several other similar works, including the 1990s British sitcom Goodnight Sweetheart, the French film Jean-Philippe (2006), and the French graphic novel Yesterday (2011).

* The Beatles were not involved in the film, but Danny Boyle did receive blessings from them and their families.

* Thor: Love and Thunder

Fourth Thor film. Chris Hemsworth reprises his titular role; Natalie Portman returns to the series, portraying a female Thor.

The new streaming service Disney+, which will launch later in 2019, will feature several new Marvel series, including Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Fall 2020), WandaVision (Spring 2021), Loki (Spring 2021), What If...? (Summer 2021), and Hawkeye (Fall 2021).
