MANILA: A 46-year-old housewife from Metro Manila’s Las Pinas placed a bet on the ATM number of her husband and hit the P270 million (Dh22.5 million) grand prize of a government-run agency’s numbers game, a senior official said.
Her husband’s ATM number — 01-06-08-27-30-35 — beat the 28.9 million odds of winning the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s (PCSO’s) lottery draw of six numbers from 1 to 55, said PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II.
