Growing ideas

The whole nation was happy to hear the prime minister’s extensive plan to counter the stunted growth problem due to low nutrients in the local population. Besides all the measures mentioned by the PM, I think the following actions will also help fight stunted growth. First. the local pharmaceutical manufacturers have been stopped from manufacturing multi-vitamins. This should be reversed and pharmaceutical manufacturers should be allowed three free multivitamin product registrations to help supply nutrients to those who need them the most.

Second, DRAP should prepare standards of nutrients packs that can be added to various foods like flour, cooking oil, milk etc. Pharmaceutical companies should also be guided in setting up manufacturing of nutrients packs. Besides providing such products to local food industry, these can also be exported to other countries earning revenue for the country.
