Pakistan should take strict action to check fraudsters like Axact. The US and the UK also need to take serious action to check and stop similar activities in their societies.
The UK, especially, has a rather poor track record of allowing all manners of dubious institutes to operate, and lure students to either buy degrees or come to the UK to (supposedly) ‘study’, to obtain so-called ‘degrees’. Sadly, some of the people behind these scams in the UK are Pakistanis or Indians but there are also many locals involved. It would be creditable if the UK first took steps against such frauds and also cooperate regularly with the authorities in Pakistan and other countries in South Asia, maybe through a broader Commonwealth regulatory body.
