Recently, some behind-the-scenes images were revealed by the makers at CinemaCon, Schwarzenegger announced, along with the sneak peek into his first look from the upcoming film titled Dark Fate. Directed by Tim Miller, the film will also star Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes and Diego Boneta.

Sharing the picture, Schwarzenegger tweeted, “I am back. November 1.”

Linda Hamilton, who returns to the Terminator franchise with the upcoming installment, has said that the films made after 1991’s Judgment Day were “very forgettable.”

Hamilton, the original star of the franchise played the role of Sarah Connor in 1984’s ‘Terminator.’ She was asked about the previous three films, all of which failed to live up to the expectations. She replied, “They are very forgettable, aren’t they? (I watched) most of them. I didn’t see the last one. I really wanted them to be good. You start something and you are invested in the franchise, but somehow the characters that you care about weren’t there.”

Reunited with the franchise after 25 years, Hamilton added, “Too many people, too many story points, so I think we have done a good job of narrowing down the focus again so it will echo the first two films.”

Dark Fate’s story is conceived by Miller and co-creator Cameron. The trailer of the much anticipated film will be out soon and the 6th film of the franchise will release on November 1.
