Actor-filmmaker Adnan Sarwar’s Motorcycle Girl, which stars Sohai Ali Abro in the titular role, released in cinemas nationwide last year (on April 20). Even though the biopic didn’t do too well at the box office, it generated great reviews from critics. Now the good news is that the film, which is based on the life of Zenith Irfan, is now available on streaming site, iflixpk.
Sohai Ali Abro took to social media to share the news. “Motorcycle Girl is now streaming on iflixpk!” she wrote on her official Instagram handle along with reposting iflix’s post.
The streaming site’s post read: “The first Pakistani woman who took a solo motorcycle trip around the region. Motorcycle Girl is now streaming on iflix.”
The biopic also features Ali Kazmi, Sarmad Khoosat, Samina Peerzada, Daniyal Raheel, Shamim Hilaly and Mehar Bano in important roles in addition to Sohai Ali Abro.
Motorcycle Girl is an inspirational and emotional story that revolves around the life of Zenith, the first female motorcyclist to travel across Pakistan alone on a motorbike. The film highlights the beautiful bond between a father and a daughter. It shows how she fights against all odds to fulfill her father’s dream of embarking on a journey to Khunjerab alone on a motorcycle.
