ISLAMABAD: A large number of overseas Pakistanis and their families are elated following the SC’s decision to accept the Bahria Town’s offer to pay Rs 450 billion. Thousands of Pakistanis, both those living here and abroad, have sent congratulatory messages to the Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz Hussain over resolution of the issue. Large number of real estate agents, builders and those involved in the property business along with the allottees from Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi, who were relaxed after the SC order saved their investment, also congratulated the Bahria Town chairman. The Supreme Court’s order has also revived the hopes of the industries allied with the country’s construction business. It has rekindled hopes of lakhs of families.
Malik Riaz has never been arrogant and disdainful and never hid his humble origins of being a small time cantonment board contractor. Once he had to sell his household stuff for daughter’s treatment at the Holy Family Hospital.
