Indian held Kashmir: During a crackdown by Indian army in Jammu and Kashmir, around 700 people have beem arrested in just two and half months, including eminent religious leaders, freedom fighters and several other activists.

According to Kashmir media services report, Indian army has so far arrested countless people in 77 days into the crackdown.

Those arrested also include Huriyat leader Yaseen Malik and 21 other Kashmiris labeled under black law public safety act. The Indian army has shifted the arrested Kashmiris to jails located outside Jammu and Kashmir.

In this regard, Huriyat leaders have requested United Nations and other international organizations to take action against inhumane violations of human rights done by Indian authorities.
