Karachi was the highlight of PSL 4: Shane Watson bids farewell after winning trophy for Gladiators

The Australian all-rounder Shane Watson turned to Instagram after naming Quetta Gladiators the champions of PSL 4, bidding farewell to the Pakistani team players in a warm note, expressing his delight in having played in Karachi.

After finally bagging the champion trophy of Pakistan Super League’s fourth edition, Quetta Gladiators bid farewell to all its international stars who played a weighty role in their triumph, including Shane Watson.

The Australian all-rounder turned to Instagram after naming his team the tournament’s champion, bidding farewell to the Pakistani team players in a warm note, expressing his delight in having played in Karachi.

“Saying farewell to a few of the main men quetta.gladiators. It has been such an amazing 5 weeks with my time in Karachi being the absolute highlight. What a way to finish things off last night. #psl4champions #psl,” he wrote.

Along with the caption is a picture of him with Gladiators’ owner Nadeem Omer, captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and shining young bowler Mohammad Hasnain, outside the hotel before his departure.

The player had been a favorite of cricket enthusiasts and critics all around during PSL 4 as he led his team to victory in most of the matches delivering a remarkable performance.
