ISLAMABAD: The Statement of Pakistan is introducing a "Financing Facility for Low Cost Housing for Special Segments" in order to facilitate availbility of long term affordable funding for housing.
Addressing a ceremony in connection with the launch of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) finance policy for low-cost housing here Monday, Imran Khan said Islamabad will be made a model city with vertical buildings. He said the construction of high-rise buildings will be encouraged to protect green areas.
The SBO on Monday issued a circular providing details about scope of the scheme, eligibility criteria, tenor and size of loans and disbursement of the loans.
