This refers to the news report, ‘Bilawal Bhutto returns home after six months’ (June 2). Bilawal has not disappointed the nation at least in obtaining quality and that too from a prestigious seat of learning.
However, in the political arena he is too naive, young and under too strict a supervision of his father and aunt to predict anything about his political future. However, being an educated person Bilawal is an addition to our largely poorly educated breed of politicians and should be welcomed and appreciated. Whether Bilawal will succeed in reinvigorating a badly demoralised political party that was once known for its progressive and moderate voice and for being the symbol of the federation is yet to be seen. Only time will tell if he revives the Bhutto’s legacy or fails to instil a soul in the PPP.
