Having appeared in last year’s romantic comedy Maan Jao Naa alongside Naz Norouzi , Hajra Yamin and Ghana Ali, singer-actor-model Adeel Chaudhry is all set to return to the small screen this year. He will be essaying the role of the protagonist Mikaal in upcoming play Bharosa that will be a family drama.
“Mikaal belongs to an elite family and is coming from somewhere abroad. He falls in love, gets married to the girl he loves and that’s when the problems start,” he shared about his character in a recent press statement.
“The audience should expect a light and relatable story,” Adeel added. “It’s a drama based on love but it’s very difficult to predict what happens next because of the multiple twists and turns the story has to offer.”
Produced under the banner of 7th Sky Production, the tentatively titled Bharosa is being directed by Ali Akbar while it has been written by Nuzhat Salman. Aside from Adeel, the project features Komal Aziz Khan and Seemi Pasha among others.
Bharosa is nearing completion and is expected to hit the small screen later this year.Adeel has earlier appeared in plays like Kaisay Tum Se Kahoon, Dharkan and the most recent Mohabbat Karna Mana Hai in 2017.
