Pakistan play against Jordan today in Junior Tennis

KARACHI: Pakistan have been placed in the group C in Asia-Oceania Pre-Qualifying ITF World Junior Tennis Competition that kicked off in Colombo on Sunday.

Pakistan will play their first group match on Monday (today), against Jordan, and then against Singapore. Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has selected three players who along with their coach departed on Saturday for Sri Lanka.

The players are Huzaifa Khan, Hassan Ali, and Hamid Israr. The coach is Nameer Shamsi. PTF stated that the players underwent two weeks of intensive training at the National Training Centre (NTC) PTF Complex, Islamabad. The boys’ event is to be played from February 24 to March 2. There will be 15 teams participating.
