According to the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Geng Shuang, China has been closely following the development of this recent attack in the Indian-held Kashmir.

“In yesterday's Security Council's press statement about the incident, a specific organisation was mentioned, but it was a general statement rather than a judgment.

The Chinese side has noted that the Pakistani government expressed its will to coordinate with India in the investigation and seek to resolve differences through dialogue.

Parties concerned should conduct objective and unbiased investigation to find out the truth. China hopes that India and Pakistan can exercise restraint, engage in dialogues".

China has also urged earlier both India and Pakistan to exercise restraint in escalating tension in their bilateral ties.

Commenting growing tension between Pakistan and India in recent days, Geng Shuang said at a regular news briefing that “Pakistan and India are both important countries in South Asia. A stable Pakistan-India relationship is crucial to regional peace, stability and development.
