Askari Bank Limited’s profit decreased 13 percent to Rs4.428 billion for the year ended December 31, translating into EPS of Rs3.51.
Askari Bank earned Rs5.128 billion with EPS of Rs4.06 a year earlier. The bank announced cash dividend of Re1/share for the year Analyst Faizan Kamran from Arif Habib Limited said the net interest income witnessed strong growth during the year, but net provisioning expenses and lackluster capital gains depressed earnings.
