Indian actress Swara Bhaskar has come forth lauding the initiative of a group of young Pakistanis who have out-rightly condemned the Pulwama attack in Indian occupied Kashmir.
The Veere Di Wedding starlet on Wednesday posted several pictures of a group of girls holding placards that state: "I am a Pakistani and I condemn Pulwama Terrorist Attack" with the hashtags #AntiHateChallenge and #NoToWar.
Swara was in high appraisals of the efforts made by 'friends from Pakistan' in propagating the 'message of condolence and peace'.
She wrote: "Thank you friends from #Pakistan for this message of condolence and peace. Laudable initiative by young Pakistanis. We hear you! #Pulwama."
Swara is famous for having a gutsy stance and is known as one of the most opinionated actresses of Bollywood. Subsequently, the 30-year-old starlet is always a target of trolls on social media.
Swara was embroiled in a controversy where she called Pakistan a 'failing state' after the country refused to release her film 'Veere Di Wedding' last year.
She was accused of having a hypocritical stance as she was quoted as singing praises for Pakistan when she had visited the country earlier.
